Nice enough, but so tiny .
Ridiculously tiny cake , probably enough for 4 decent slices . Needs a bit more jam . Marks cakes used to be really nice, but unfortunately they are no longer anything special. This would be nice with custard, as an old school desert .

Moist, jammy and coconutty
Baffled by the review which says the cake is dry and lacks jam. Mine was deliciously moist, had plenty of coconut on top and was shot through with raspberry jam. The jam was a bit on the sweet side, but then it is a cake...

Reminded me of school!
Very excited when i saw this and had to order! Reminded me of 80s school cake - was light and moist. Very delicious sweet treat!
