Otherwise known as glass bread, due to its delicate, brittle crust, pan de cristal is a traditional topped bread from the Catalan region of Spain. This pan cristal is topped with mozzarella cheese, smoke cheese and Serrano ham. It's perfect for sharing as part of a tapas feast. Oven cooks in 14 minutes. Serves 2.

Needs cooking. Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and place directly onto the middle shelf of the oven. Place a tray on the rack below to catch any drips. Cook until outer edges are crispy.

lovely
Love this. Had with mojo rojo sauce, canary island salt baked potatoes and Presa pork.
Okish
I bought this after reading reviews, it was ok but slightly disappointed. It had plenty of ham on it but very salty. I have a small appetite & a 1/3 was enough for me. It won't go to waste but wouldn't buy again.
Underwhelmed
I bought these off the back of all the positive reviews and was honestly a little underwhelmed. A few of the reviews described these as being like really nice pizzas - but they reminded me not of pizza so much as cheese on toast. They had far too much cheese on, and no where near the amount of ham pictured. I also found one of these too small for a meal for a grown male adult. All in all, not too impressed and won't be buying again.

Amazing
We had this for a Sunday evening treat with a glass of wine. All I can say is Wow...it was delicious. I would rather have this than a pizza. Its thin, crisp, tastes of quality ingredients. So happy to have found this. Enough for 2 to share I'd say with salad and olives or 1 for a main.
