Sad!
This is a passable pie- a shame that garlic is added to it- definitely not traditional or something that I want. Too many M&S items I wont buy now because of the garlic.
Middle of the road
I have had these quite a few times and mostly are good ready meal eating. However the quality control failure means that the odd unacceptable product slips through the net. However I have noticed that increasing amounts of herblike flavourings have appeared in all of these products. Tamarind and garlic are not traditional recipe items for Cottage pie and I do not want them in mine.

Surprisingly nice, don’t usually expect much from ready meals, but I enjoyed this one. Sprinkled a little grated cheese on top and had with sweetheart cabbage.

I love this cottage pie. Lovely flavour and perfect size for one.
Dry and not much flavour
We didn't rate this, the mash was a bit dry so we added a bit more butter, the filling wasn't the most flavoursome, won't be buying this again
