Nothing wrong with the taste if youre after a cheaper priced non brand vodka
Same taste as Absolute but much cheaper
I have switched to the M&S vodka from Absolute for my Bloody Mary and cant feel any difference, great vodka and great price
Pretty smooth... but not the best
I have been spoiled. My vodka of choice is Utkins UK5 Organic Vodka (available here on Ocado!) Now THAT is smooth! So of course, I am comparing. However, this M&S one (and especially if you compare to the 'standard' ones,) is pretty decent. Smooth and refined - BUT not QUITE as smooth or refined as Utkins (to me). It's also not as dense or intense a flavour, so harder to taste when mixed with soda for example (my mixer of choice - with a slice). I needed to save money - and I will because a) it's about £5 cheaper and b) I won't want to drink it quite as often, (haha) but my money may have to go back on Utkins. (But please don't all go out and buy it, or Ocado will sell out! Thank you.)
Not distilled from a named source.
The ingredients are listed as: Demineralised Water, Alcohol. Most vodkas are distilled from a named source, usually grain or potatoes. This is made from a generic alcohol and the same water as you should put in your steam iron. The comparably priced Schmirnoff 21 is triple distilled from grain and filtered ten times through charcoal. OK if you're mixing it, but I drink my vodka neat so I need some character.
