Preparation and Usage
How to make the perfect cup of tea:
Use freshly drawn water, as reboiled water dulls flavour and colour. Use one teaspoon per person, plus one extra for the pot. Bring the water to the boil, then add to the tea straight away. Brew for 3-5 mins, remove the tea, then add milk if desired.

Great Taste, Big Leaf, Good Price
This is our favourite breakfast tea, full of flavour but without the strong tannin taste with a lot of brands. This is a large leaf tea with less "dust" at the bottom of the pack so less waste. We've tried all the expensive teas but this beats them all.
All time favourite
Have been using this for years. Plenty of flavour without the tannin taste of Yorkshire type teas. It was the available for several months in 2023 and we tried brand after brand, some of them very expensive. Couldn’t finish most packets. Even tried some teabags. What a relief when they returned to the shelves. Taste is as good, leaves a little larger so maybe another supplier. Now have a stockpile and enjoying drinking tea again.
just dust
Do yourself a favour and get teapigs
Awful, like paint stripper!
This is beyond awful, way too dark, tastes bad, avoid!!
Weak
If you like a decent cup of tea go for the one in the blue bag - this is weak (and more expensive!)
Nice tea
Accidentally bought this thinking I was buying the extra strong one. I like strong tea and this one gives a nice strong cup using two teaspoons in a small pot. It doesnt over brew easily like the extra strong one. Ive switched to this now.
