Best Value
Almost all supermarkets offer fish pie. This mini-meal is one of the best, and excellent value. Plenty of fish, not too much potato. It has become one of my regulars.
Wot no fish?
Its all one colour, beige! 70% mash, 20% fish, 10% sauce. Very bland, could do with some peas, carrots sweetcorn to give some colour. I expected more from M&S, this is very sub standard.
Save your money and get Young’s!
I’m a fan of M&S and do believe that most of their offerings are superior in quality to a lot of brands. However, this fish pie was disappointing. It was mostly just mash, and so bland. The small pieces of fish that were actually in there carried no flavour. Might as well have been a bowl of potato. I bought this at a reduced price (thankfully), but I’d recommend saving your pennies and going for a Young’s fisherman or admiral’s pie if you just want a simple, run-of-the-mill ready meal. They’re bigger and much cheaper!
A regular buy
I buy this quite often. Perfect size for me & tastes fab. Whats not to like?
2 cm of fish
Mash and cheese pie, very little low quality fish. Only saving grace was that it was half price.
Where\x27s the fish?
Five miniscule pieces of tasteless "fish" (hard to tell what it actually was, but rubbery and chewy) surrounded by a very dry mash and a dollop of a bland sauce made of wallpaper paste.. Not worth 32p let alone £3.20!!! Typical M&S rubbish. Stick to Ocado own brand or more expensive premium brands that actually represent value for money.
