fruit pastilles

I bought these on Wednesday and they were so good, I ate the flippin lot by myself by Friday. Highly recommend.

really not very nice

Bit bland on flavour. Just loads of sugar!

Lacked flavour and are more like jellies

These really were disappointing. They lacked any real flavour and left a strange after taste. Not nice at all. Softer than the real (the most popular ones that I couldnt get at the time so ended up with these) ones too. Wont be buying these again. Ill stick to the original and best in future.

I would class these sweets as slap bang in the middle of a jelly and a wine gum. Soft but not soft. As for the taste, well, they certainly pack a punch and are very much an adult pastille. Very strong in flavour with the taste of not only the juice of the fruit, but the peel too. If you are looking for a sweet 'Roundtrees pastille', then these are not for you. Personally i found the flavour overpowering, but on a good note, you probably could only eat one or two at a time.
