Not a fruit bomb
Found this interesting as it became less fruity and more savoury and herbaceous with a bit of air. A nice blend with the singularity of Cabernet Franc showing through, sharpening up the flavour profile. Great value when on offer but pretty well priced at list.
Excellent value proposition!
Great South African wine. Not fruity (great!), herbaceous. No need to decant.
Reliably drinkable
At this price point it is one of the best wines to buy for all tastes. I love it, as it does not taste like cheap wine. a red wine for all occassions. The only problem i had sometimes, remarkably, is with the screw top enclosure being difficult to twist off. Sometimes a run around with a sharp knife is needed to break some of the tangs.
Highly recommend!
Cannot recommend enough, especially for this price point. Agree with others - tastes more expensive than what it is and dare to say it would give other, more expensive, bottles a run for their money. Highly recommend
Expensive Tasting Red!
This wine was great, tasted like it should of cost twice as much!
One of my favourite Marks wines
I buy this regularly from Marks so great to see on Ocado
