undercooked rice
The rice was undercooked, the avocado was hard and the tomato skins very thick and tough. Only good bit was the sweetcorn. Would not recommend and would not buy again.
Filling and tasty
The salad itself is nice and fresh and dressing is warm and smokey..... I could have drank it out of the pot.
tasty but leaked
Super tasty but the packaging was slightly damaged in arrival so the juices had leaked over our other shopping
Gone Off
This smelled and tasted really bad the day after delivery. They need to store this better to avoid it going off so quickly. It's not right that if you get this delivered midweek and get 3 days shelf life but less than 2 days to eat it if it's delivered on the weekend. So that means you get a salad from the same stock on Friday that's been delivered to other customers on Wednesday. No wonder it goes off so quickly on Saturday.
Too highly spiced
This is a strange salad. You have the bland rice and avocado, but then there's this dreadful kick of red pepper and chilli dressing. It's like two salads rolled into one, badly! It just doesn't work.
we should have like this but
We like all the ingredients but frankly found this bitty and the flavours rather samey/bland. I ate without the sauce and gave this a more favourable three stars than my husband. He felt the sauce ( he used less than half) was runny and the paprika tasted raw and overpowered the dish. I see we are a minority opinion. I will probable make this myself adding more avocado. ( the photo is misleading!)
