Very versatile dried fruit.
I make my own mincemeat and add my own sugar free marzipan. So many uses but just wish they would leave out the sugar. What’s the point!

Great base for mincemeat
This made a great base for home made mincemeat. I didn't want to make a lot of mincemeat this year so bought this pack of mixed dried fruits to act as the base rather than buying a packet of this and a packet of that leaving me with loads left over. It was a nice mix and I left it chunky. This pack wasn't dried or old so it went down well as the filling to shortcrust pies, and I will be baking some apples using the mincemeat as the stuffing.
