Nicely crunchy
Using melted butter instead of rubbing it in, seems to make a big difference. Nice clumps of oaty crumble instead of the usual powdery crumb.
Good texture and taste
The first time I used this I completely overlooked the fact that I had to mix it with butter. The results were dreadful . After realising my error, the second time I prepared the topping as it should be with great results. I was pleased with the texture, with just enough crunch, and the even way in which it baked. The flavour was great with the oats adding a welcome change and depth from plain crumble. I shall use it again
not for me
This is very strange crumble mix, so powdery I nearly chocked, would not buy again and not for me.
what a great find
I love this. Ive just ordered another 2 boxes. I made apple and raspberry crumble using this and delivered to my elderly widowed neighbour who is just ecstatic over it. And so is my grandson. Ive been making my own crumble mix for 50 years but its never been as tasty as this.
lumps
Followed the instructions but it looked more like large clumps of clay, certainly not a crumble. Cooked rock hard. There are better crumble mixes out there. Not for me
Cheap \x26 easy
Always handy to have in the cupboard, so easy to make and just as good as homemade
