great for making sourdough starter
and makes a great loaf
not a fan
Didn't get on with this flour. My rolls came out heavier every time, even when I mixed it with the doves white bread flour. not for me.
Best wholemeal flour
This is definitely the best wholemeal bread flour that I have used. A delicious but light flavour, no aftertaste which I have found a problem with other wholemeal flours. I mostly use mine to make 75% wholemeal bread in a bread maker, perfect every time and freezes very well. As I live on my own once the bread has cooled I slice it and freeze in packs of two slices. Defrosts to give a freshly baked texture of bread, I would definitely highly recommend this flour
Brilliant Sourdough
If you want to make your own sourdough, this flour will help you to create a brilliant starter. Simply follow the Sourdough School instructions to begin with 50g flour and 50 ml water, continue to remove half and refresh daily with the same amounts until your starter bubbles. This is excellent flour, loads of fibre, highly recommended.

Mixed this with a bit of white flour to make a loaf , kids loved it . decent flour
Pretty good
Received as a substitute for my favourite flour. Reasonable but not as good. Unlikely to order directly but will probably take as a substitute again.
