Smooth
Not as full bodied as some primitivos especially apassimiento ones are but lovely, smooth and very drinkable. A little sweeter than most primitivos I had, nothing wrong with that. Very nice wine, regular item in my shopping basket.
Deliciously easy drinking
This is a weekly buy for our household. Smooth and easy to drink. As some say it is on the sweeter side for a red but thats how I like a red. I have had the odd dodgy bottle (tasting acidic and vinegary) though which is why this only gets 4*s.
Super sweet
Dont know where people are getting vinegar from in other reviews. This was like juice to me. Super sickly sweet. Unfortunately M&S reds around the £8-£12 mark are rather disappointing me.
awful vinegar smell and taste.
Usually primitive is very drinkable with lovely well balanced flavour. I opened this bottle, decanted it and let it breath. I managed to drink about 1/3 of the glass. It had a distinctive vinegar smell and the taste was awful. Not what it should taste like. Sadly I won't be buying.this again.
Ghastly
Really awful taste.
Delicious
Just the right side of rough with delicious berry tones. Robust enough to stand up to a strong pasta sauce and very drinkable. Hope it’s back in stock soon.
