M&S Quinta De Fafide Estate Reserva
A deeply coloured, intense red wine with flavours of blackberry, bergamot and vanilla spice. Winemaker Rui Madeira used traditional Portuguese grapes from the Douro Valley to make this fine wine, ageing it in French and American oak barrels. This smooth, full-bodied wine pairs well with roast beef, pork chops or cheese. Suitable for vegans. Will cellar for up to three years.

Lovely wine

This is a great regular wine. Not expensive but a balanced flavour. Medium bodied, good tannins. A good home red. Try it!

possibly not as intended

My Portuguese husband described this as pub wine. The alcohol was intense in the nose, and there was nothing attractive in the taste. It went down the sink. Maybe we got a bad bottle.
