British roast beef with a garlic and parmigiano reggiano crust. Oven cooks in 30 minutes. Serves 2.

Preparation and Usage
For best results, carve thinly using a sharp knife.
1. Secure a large chopping board by placing on top of a damp cloth.
2. Using a pronged carving fork, place the joint onto the chopping board. Secure the joint by pushing the fork through the centre of the joint from above and hold firmly.
3. Slice thinly into 5mm/10mm slices using a sharp knife.
4. Only carve as many slices as required to preserve the succulence and tenderness of the joint.
Instructions
Electric 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 30-35 mins
Needs cooking.
Preheat oven. Allow the product to stand at room temperature for 15 mins before cooking. Remove sleeve and film. Wash sachet by placing in a cup of hot water (not boiling) for 30 secs. Wash hands after handling sachet and set aside. Place in the centre of the oven for: medium 30 mins, well done 35 mins
Remove from oven and rest for 10 mins before carving.
To heat the sauce - Pour the contents of sauce sachet into saucepan and warm over a medium heat until simmering.
Carve thinly and drizzle with finishing jus.
Do not reheat.

Really wish I had read the reviews!
I must admit the smell of the beef was a little off putting whilst cooking but thought it might be the Parmesan crust. As others, cooked for slightly less time to achieve medium rare and duly let the meat rest for 20 minutes. I knew it wasnt great when I started carving as the meat was rubbery and wet. Had managed to achieve a slightly pink colour but none of us could eat it as it had a taste that could only be described as the smell of rotting meat. I had bought two joints as theyre small and I thought we could have sandwiches the following day but all went in the bin, even the dog wouldnt eat it! Avoid at all costs!
Dry and tasteless
Cooked as per instructions. The result was dry and tasteless beef. Cannot recommend.
Really bad.
Bought in-store, not from Ocado. It was an extremely tough, super lean piece of beef. I reduced the recommended cooking time for medium by 5 minutes because I suspected it was too long, and it was already at temperature for well done. It was rested for more than ten minutes, but it tasted cheap and was like chewing on an old leather boot. It's disappointing for M&S... also avoid the ambient beef gravy. It tastes like uncooked red wine.
Horrible even at half price
Bought this beef on a flash sale. The smell of the Parmesan and garlic really put me off this chunk of meat. It was incredible tough even though I cooked it for only 20 mins rather than the recommended 30 mins. My dogs liked it though

We bought in a flash sale. Found it very soft and nice flavour. However not a large amount, feel its overpriced if not on sale.
