Disappointed
I chose this because it said it was mild but it was mild in every way! Not a lot of taste and very sweet. We ate it but will not buy again.
Bland
Bland, horrible , just didnt like it.
The best! Add some healthy veg, peppers etc
This Thai Curry Sauce is superb! One jar can be enough for 4 generous meals. In a pan gently heat olive oil and add following: 1-2 chopped gloves garlic (skip garlic if you prefer), 1 diced red & one orange bell pepper, dice 1 packet of Ocado Mango & Coconut Chicken Grills, they're tender & already marinated (for vegetarian option replace with Quorn Pieces and add a little coconut cream, or add Quorn Pieces alongside chicken to bolster protein - cheaper than adding another 1/2 packet of mango coconut chicken), and gently seal. Add M&S Red Thai Curry sauce, not forgetting to rinse out jar (2/3 full) with filtered water adding to pan and gently simmer for approx 7 mins, stirring occasionally. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of Rachel's Organic Greek Style Lemon yogurt - thickens sauce adding fresh flavour. Stir in 1 heaped tablespoons of tomato puree - adds back colour and depth. Lastly, depending on personal taste, 7 turns milled sea salt and 5 turns milled pepper. Gently simmer for further 20-30 minutes. (If you prefer a thicker sauce consistency, increase reduction/simmer time, likewise add a little water to loosen)
Mild and bland
Convenient sauce that was mild but ok. I was after more flavour and perhaps should have added a chilli. None offensive thick creamy sauce. Not my taste so wouldn’t repurchase
Good
I put off buying this sauce for quite a while now as the reviews weren't great, however thought we'd give it a go. It's nice. We enjoyed it, kids too, as it's quite mild. If you're looking for an authentic sauce, I'm pretty sure this isn't it, however for a quick family meal, it's absolutely fine. All the M&S sauces are pretty good.
Best ready made Thai curry sauce on the market
This is the best ready made sauce and I’ve tried lots of different ones. It’s also the only one without additives.
