Easy to cook and nice
We enjoyed this, like we always have. Good portion for 2 and tender.
Big mistake
I got 3 of these to cook for Easter, and followed the instructions to the letter. But geez were they terrible. Tough as old boots and without a doubt the worst pieces of meat I’ve ever had from here. I was serving 14 people for Easter lunch so was out of other options. In the end I used the meat slicer and made the slices very thin to help break down the sinewy composition. Alas it did little to help. The flavour was unremarkable too. I never have left over beef but over half was left by people not wanting seconds. I turned the remainder into a stew, it was flavourless, I should have fed it to my cats instead. Super disappointed.
Tough as old leather - horrible
This was just about inedible. I know how to cook as I was married to a butcher/farmer for many years with own shop. I even followed instructions on the packaging which I dont normally do because of many years experience, however I never had such horrible meat as we are being sold at ridiculous prices these days and even from M & S which should do better. Theyre going downhill with most of their foods smaller packaging and more expensive. Shame on you, doubt you will survive long at this rate. I was a regular customer till recently.
