Diced beef steak, perfect for stews, pies and beef Bourguignon. Simply season and slow-cook for three to four hours. High in protein.

Preparation and Usage
Wash and dry hands thoroughly before and after handling raw meat, and after disposing of packaging. Use separate chopping boards/utensils for raw meat. Always cover meat and store at bottom of fridge.
Instructions
Needs cooking. Remove packaging and preheat oven. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Season meat and brown in frying pan. Place in a casserole dish. Add diced vegetables (carrots, celery, onion) to the frying pan and soften. Place into the casserole dish on top of beef. Add approximately 500ml stock or sauce and seasoning. Cover with foil and place in the oven. Cook for 3-4 hours.
Do not reheat.

perfect for long slow cooking
I used a pack of this beef to make a chilli which I simmered in the oven for 3 hours - mixed it with a large onion, pack of mushrooms, a chopped red pepper, chopped green pepper, chopped celery, a jar of pasata, honey, coriander, lime juice, thyme, chilli powder and beef stock with a splash of red wine vinegar and squirt of ketchup. Served with rice, grated cheese, sour cream and pinto beans and it was a delicious dinner for 6 with leftovers.
fatty & sinewy
Have purchased this before but I wont be doing again. The beef was tasteless but the rest was just fat and sinew. Great chunks of the stuff made most of the weight up! I purchased this because you can usually rely on good quality meat from M&S, but this time it was very disappointing. The only positive I can say is that my dogs loved it!!
poor quality meat
I purchased this as my usual brand was out of stock and expected M&S to be of a good quality . However the quality is very poor , very fatty and very small cut pieces . I would not recommend this product
Not Diced
Beef was not diced aa labelling states - came in long straggly lengths that had to be fished out of slow cooker to chop up. Havent tasted it yet so cant comment on that. Not the quality I would expect from M&S.
Great for a stew
Always very tasty, cooked long and slow, falls apart and has a lovely taste!
