Changed to Quilted \- No Longer Good Value
For some reason M&S have changed the make-up of this toilet roll to quilted which I never buy. A pack of four lasted less than a week in a two-person household. Very sneaky and cheeky! I will not be buying again and will be going back to Andrex.
Previous one was mich better
This toilet paper insists its soft and smooth, but maybe it is just a bit more comfortable than a cactus hug. It gets the job done, but at the price theyre asking, I expected my bathroom breaks to come with a live jazz band and a personal masseuse!
Stars toilet paper
Lovely and soft toilet paper. Very strong. Nice design.
Inferior
I bought the original silver stars loo roll, also the gold stars loo roll, when they first appeared on the shelves, years ago. They were so soft and satin like, to the touch. They then disappeared. Now they're back. Not a patch on the original. Inferior and with a cheap feel. M&S cost cutting again, and not just with their paper products, it's all across the board.
Good Quality
Ignore the negative reviews, these are large, and very good quality rolls, which are far superior to other supermarket own makes. I really hope M&S don’t listen to all the moaning minnies and discontinue them. These and the meadow ones are a regular buy with our shopping.
Smaller rolls for loads more money.
This used to be the best on the market ! Now it's shrunk to 160 sheets from 200, the sheets are smaller & the overall size is 31% smaller. Yet the price has increased proportionally by a whopping 69%. Explain please!! 69% in six months!
