Great shop brought farmhouse
one of the better farmhouse bread you can buy from supermarket
Tasty bread
Lasts a while past its sell by date. Nice flavour and extremely soft. Best loaf we have found on Ocado
Tip use the crust
As others have said crust are thick but please don't waste them. I save them in freezer, when needed I make garlic bread slice each slice into 3 fingers and bake until crusty, M&S charge a lot for the ready made ones.
Ends way too thick makes wasteful loaf
This is a good, tasty loaf that makes great toast or sandwiches but the ends really are too thick. They weigh around 180g - nearly a quarter of the loaf. I suppose you could turn them into breadcrumbs but I always end up throwing them out. Too thick for eating. Such a waste of food and money. Could easily have 2 more slices if they were cut properly.
M\x26S Farmhouse
I agree with other reviews - ends are too thick - I try to use a serrated knife to slice end into two. Lately bread is too damp to touch and there is a lack of salt. Toasting is best.
Both Ends Are A Complete Waste
If you like your end crusts thick then you will love this loaf. They are 2cm thick and not good for anything.
