Dry and stringy
Got these as a substitute and theyre not really edible when you have to keep pulling strings out your mouth each time. I dont usually top and tail my sugar snaps but these needed it.
Stringy
Nice flavour but spoilt by being so stringy, not pleasant to have to keep removing food from one's mouth, but otherwise i would have choked on the inedible stringy bits.
Good quality
Sometimes a little bashed, but last a good amount of time
Good
Good quality. Taste good
delicious
these were lovely fresh I had raw and blanched.
not great quality
Keep getting these as a substitution. The quality isnt great at all on them - a lot of the pods have blemishes and they are tough too. Not pleasant eaten raw (which is what I love to do with sugar snap peas). Its almost like someone thinks the pod quality is not an issue because they will be shelled - this isnt the case with sugar snap peas the whole thing is eaten. M&S quality is just so disappointing time after time after time. It comes to something when its actively worse than Ocado or others and I hate the premium pricing that low quality has at m&s. If it was decent quality Id be happy to pay that, but theyre really poor and its not a one off. Ive had bags of these for many weeks now and all are very poor.
