This towel’s GSM rating is 550 GSM.GSM stands for grams per square metre and indicates the weight and density of the towel. M&S' towels range from 450-800 GSM. At the lower end of the scale, 450-600 GSM signifies a lightweight towel: good value and quick-drying, with added benefits such as low-twist yarn to make them feel more like their heavier-weight counterparts. At the higher end of the scale, 600-800 GSM signifies a heavier, more luxurious towel. The pile in these deluxe towels is denser and more lavish.

Not Very Drying.
Used for the first time following recent purchase after being washed without fabric conditioner. Good colour & appears good quality, however does not dry well , not absorbent & just slips over wet skin- strange!
Lovely
Soaked overnight in cold water to condition the cotton, washed , dried , beautifully soft and nice and thick, I think these will last a long time making them very good value.

Really cheesed off.
Every time I buy something like this from Ocado, a week or two later they’re reduced. If it’d been once or twice then I would think nothing of it but it must be the fifth time I’ve bought something from the homeware dept, only for it to be reduced shortly thereafter. The towels are okay, not very absorbent but they’ve only had a couple of washes so might improve.

Wash and tumble dry well and fluff up a treat.
