This velvety Spanish red is made by Pilar Larumbe using the local Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cariñena grapes grown in Cariñena in northeast Spain. Matured in oak, the wine may form a harmless sediment in the bottle.

Yuk
Bought this mistakenly thinking it was a Rioja. It is a Spanish red (2014) entitled 'gran reserva', but it is harsh and acidic and definitely not worth the price tag. Sadly I bought 3 bottles for Christmas, but I won't be buying any more! I'd expect to pay about half the price for this quality, and use it for cooking or mulled wine. Note to self: check the description carefully before ordering!
