2 packs of these smelt rancid
I used to always have these as a storecupboard standby ingredient - useful for making bread sauce or for coating chicken goujons, or adding to meatballs as a meat extender. However, last 2 packs I've had smelt rancid and I've had to throw them away as they were inedible.
Bizarre stink of oil paint
The product itself seems to absolutely reek of old fashioned gloss paint. Taste fine (time will tell!!) but it seems to be the product, not the packaging. Very strange, wont buy again & wish Id read the other reviews - didnt expect Id ever need to read a review about breadcrumbs!
Good product but a little pricey?
Product was excellent, but not sure how breadcrumbs can cost so much to produce? Think again on the price point...
great
good everyday breadcrumbs, did not have any of the rancid notes mentioned
Vile smell and taste
I think M&S needs to look at the plastic packaging they're using for their dried food. These had an awful, overpowering chemical smell and taste that meant we ended up throwing away the whole dinner we'd made and the bag of crumbs. A £10 bag of cashews I bought from here was also the same, vile tasting. M&S sort it out please!
weird smell
Used a few times, but these do not smell appetising in the slightest
