fresh & flavourful
These were very flavourful just pan frying with a little bit of salt and pepper. Makes a nice light supper
Smells off
Not Fresh
Disappointed.
Really wanted to like these.. they looked good quality even on arrival. Unfortunately on further inspection, at least 4 of them were yellowed, strange texture, smelled off, etc. Had to bin those.. And those that I did have, well, I have experienced Cornish sardines before and I can't quite understand were the nice, soft, buttery, succulent elements went? Is it some kind of cost cutting measure, I don't know but I expected more from M&S as well as whichever cornish fishery provided these because it makes people think the produce from there is sub-par which isn't true.
Really fresh
Nice & fresh!
flash sale
Lucky me! Might not have tried otherwise. Only had to remove one bone whilst eating from th whole pack. Perfectly fresh
superb freshness
Ate them pan-fried after soaking and rinsing off the packet-slime on the last day of their use-by date. No problem at all, delicious and perfectly fresh. No large bones, only perfectly edible little ones and really nice fillets. Would buy at full price
