Why?

Why has Unilever changed this product? It was the only tartare we’d buy but not anymore. Nothing about the product said it had changed to include cayenne pepper. It is no longer tartare sauce it completely overpowers any fish. Come on Unilever admit the mistake and put it back to the original recipe. Read the negative reviews and acknowledge the delisting of this product by the high street supermarkets.

Why?

I agree with everyone else, this was by far my favourite tartare sauce for years until the recipe changed. Now it is terrible.

Why oh why oh why?

This was always on my favourites list but would now be 0 stars if it would let me. I dont get the change in recipe from one of the best prepared tartare sauces on the market to this monstrosity! Im guessing it is a change by Maille and not just Ocado switching products. You can tell when a manufacturer has messed up when you can see the old version for sale on Ebay!

No longer a favourite with me

I always used to buy this sauce but since the new recipe it is absolutely horrible. I cannot understand the addition of Cayenne pepper, which overpowers the taste of fish. I will not be buying again.

Seems to have changed

I used to like this, but it seems to have become very vinegary and acidic, rather than smooth and creamy with capers. Not pleasant at all.

Such a shame they changed it

This was a brilliant tatare sauce until they added Cayenne pepper. It's awful now. Very disappointing.
