it doesnt taste like regular maple syrup

Has a weird after taste, too sugary rather than maple syrup after taste, its just gross

Decent in cocktails and porridge

This tastes more sugary and has less depth of flavour than the St Lawrence syrup, but that was out of stock and this was on offer. Actually pretty good when used in cocktails and it was also fine in porridge and coffee.

really bland

Maybe I got a bad bottle, but barely tasted of anything. So bland I did a c0vid test!

truly delightful

A staple in my shopping bag. Good texture, wonderful taste and a little goes a long way. I use it as a substitute for sugar and agave in recipes and for a more complex sweetness in tea and coffee. Big thumbs up.

*NOT* Maple Syrup

I'm American and grew up with gallon jugs of Maple Syrup. I've ordered probably 30 bottles of Maple Syrup through Ocado over the past decade. I ordered Maple Shack for the first time in February and opened it this week - it does not taste like 100% maple syrup. There is something synthetic about it. My son agreed. I know there is fraud in the maple syrup industry with additives, which is exactly what this tastes like.

lovely sweet Smokey flavour

Love this maple syrup. Is going to go so nicely with pancakes! Excellent quality.
