Tasting Notes
The mesh Eden Valley Riesling has with aromas of zesty lemons and grapefruit. Followed by clean and dry refreshing citrus fruit on the palate.
History
High on the slopes of Eden Valley, bright yellow and blue buckets squat between rows of vines. Pickers pedantically divide Riesling grapes row by row. Overseeing the process, tasting the grapes, stand two of Australia's best known Riesling makers - Jeffrey Grosset and Eden Valley's Robert Hill-Smith.
Regional Information
The Eden Valley vineyards selected for this project were chosen for their potential to deliver fruit most in keeping with the unique characters of Eden Valley and the jointly agreed wine style/philosophy. Our aim is to make a wine with a strong citrus flavour and slight mineral profile, typical of the region. We look for long, rich flavours with a greater emphasis on power, generosity, persistence and texture than is normally seen.

Vinification Details
Each component, while being close to identical at the start, undergoes a subtly different conversion into wine, reflecting the personal differences in interpretation of the "purest or most powerful expression of variety and region." The wines are compared as finished components post-vintage to determine the final blend.

very dry
If you like a wine that has no fruity flavour to balance the dry, then this is the wine for you. Bit too dry for me! I do enjoy the freshness of a good Riesling, but threw over half this bottle away.

Complex flavours \- superb
Was looking for a new wine to try and this did not disappoint. Complex and on the dry side this wine will accompany any summer meal well, also super to drink without food, great to see this in stock definitely a favourite now.

Superb
A delicious Australian Riesling. Not as sweet as its German counterpart but better for it. Smooth and delicious. The best Riesling on the market. Highly recommend.
