History
In the heart of the Marca Trevigiana, at the foot of Colli Asolani and Montello district, stands Cantina Montelliana, a cooperative of 400 associated vine growers that produces Prosecco DOC, DOCG, and other wines since 1957
Regional Information
It lies in the foothills of the area stretching from the Montello to the Asolo Hill area and is in the heart of the Trevisan March, an area with ideal soil and climate for growing grapes. The vineyards are located on the Montello and Asolo hills at an altitude of 120 to 250 metres above sea level.
Vinification Details
Grapes are manually harvested in boxes and softly pressed to obtain the must, which is then treated by refrigeration and filtration. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks between 18°C and 22°C. When fermentation is completed, follow the stabilization and Charmat process. Before the second fermentation, we add a portion of Pinot Nero, which gives our Prosecco its typical rosé colour.
