Ravioli in Tomato & Fresh Basil Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 Packet of Mr Organic Formaggio Ravioli.
- 1 Tin of Mr Organic Chopped Tomatoes.
- 2 Tablespoons of Mr Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- 1 Clove of chopped garlic.
- A handful of fresh basil.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Method:
1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium low heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute or until it is golden.
2. Add the fresh chopped basil and chopped tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer for 8 to 10 minutes until the sauce is thick.
3. Meanwhile cook the Ravioli following the directions on this packet. Drain and serve with the tomato and basil sauce. Serve with grated vegan cheeze and extra fresh basil leaves if desired. Buon appetito!

Good
Nice vegan cheese ravioli but would have preferred it to be just cheese no leek as we dont like the onion-y flavour

This doesn\x27t deserve the low rating
The pasta "skin" is a bit thick for my liking sure, but it also means literally none of them burst during cooking! Definitely give this a try, it might grow on you.

ok but the veg tortellini is much better
This works ok but is a bit too hard/stodgy and doesn't have as much flavour as the vegetable tortellini made by the same brand

Wouldnt rebuy
Found these stodgy and lack of internal filling. The vegan ravioli from Sainsbury is by far the best weve found.. this is expensive and not worth the money

Nice vegan alternative
Wanted to give a go to a vegan filled pasta option and I've got to say they were quite nice! I tried them with a home made cherry tomato sauce and fresh basil and the result was good. Recommended
