Not very nice
I really like the chicken flavor, but this one is a let down. The portion is tiny and there is not much flavor, despite leaving it for 7 minutes, most of the pasta stayed hard.
Taste is really nice BUT....
The taste of these is really good and I buy plenty when on offer....but the hard bits thing is a problem if you want to get the balance of taste+texture right. Too much water and you might avoid the hard bits but it won't taste as good. Just enough water and the heat isn't retained long enough to cook all the pasta. The workaround is to give it short blasts in the microwave, if you have one, to keep the sauce bubbling for a bit longer (but only like 10-20 secs max at a time or it'll bubble over).
Does what it says
It's a pasta version of a pot noodle. Add about 25% more boiling water than the instructions, stir stir and stir again then let it sit for 8-ish minutes. The pasta will be softer, and you can drink the sauce when you're done.
Easy on your stomach.
Ive had these as a cheap go to for work lunch for years. Theyre quick to make (add boiling water and stir well to avoid crunchy pasta at the bottom) tasty and they dont give me a lingering after taste or indigestion!
Horrible!
The pasta was crunchy, the sauce was extremely salty, and it was thrown away. I thought the 50% reduction in price was too good to be true. It was.
Had to cook on the hob
Crunchy pasta even beyond the packs required wait time.
