Best store bought pasta sauce
This has elevated our weekly bolognese and lasagna to the next level. The whole family is in love with this sauce, event my Italian grandma :)
Tasty
Lovely full bodied tomato sauce. We loved it
home-style saucw
Got this on offer and definitely think it was worth the £2.50 price - it was indistinguishable from a homemade sauce that had had hours of prep and work go into it with the ease of it coming from a jar. However, as others have said, its a very small jar, and while a single person may be able to get three servings from it (depending how saucy you desire your dish), I wouldt pay the full price (though if totalling it up cost wise, its definitely still worth it).
Overpriced
I bought this on offer for £2.12 to try. It's a small portion of 260g and I don't think the sauce was anything special. I will revert back to Lloyd Grossman sauces.
Nothing special
This is overpriced for such a small amount of tomato sauce. Take note of the volume, this bottle is half the size of a regular jar of pasta sauce.
Delicious
This is very expensive but so tasty. You do get what you pay for I guess and this is quality. I've started to serve up as a side to a pork chop or escalope a portion of plain spaghetti with this mixed thru, half of this sauce sorts 2 meals. Big change for my household not to have potatoes or rice all the time as a side. And it feels special. Love that I recycle the glass jar too for left over bits to store in the fridge. I highly recommend.
