Natoora Watercress
Picked fresh, watercress is a perishable green. It will store best in the fridge with its stems in water and the leaves loosely covered with a plastic bag.
- Watercress is an aquatic plant grown along stream banks. Its small green leaves have a sharp, peppery flavour.
- We source from a grower in Jerez in the south of Spain. Benefiting from the fertile soil and ample sunlight of the region, the watercress thrives, imparting onto each leaf the distinctive flavors and nutrients.
Take it further
- Toss lightly in olive oil, salt and a little lemon juice and serve beside simply cooked fish.
- Blend raw through green soups to lend a vibrant, peppery profile.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We don't work with industrial agriculture or large wholesalers
- We work closely with growers who are preserving vital flavours through meaningful small farming
- We back these growers to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet

Disappointing
Having bought this last year, had expectations that it would be lovely and fresh, previously had come bunched in paper, this time, loose in a plasticky bag. After delivery it went in the fridge, the following day took it out to eat but around 90% was limp, shrivelled and generally unappetising, have put in water and back in the fridge in the hope it perks up a bit
Hot
Used on 2nd day and didn’t follow instructions and just starting to wilt so expectations were low. 1/2 went in a green salad & the most flavoursome watercress we’ve had in years. Stalks not tough, despite being robust and plenty of heat, almost horseradish in intensity. Could still taste in mouth 5minutes or so after eating. Have now followed instructions & hope the rest revives, as dreaming of a roast beef and watercress sandwich with it tomorrow. Will definitely buy again and use on day of arrival. Like baguette from a French Boulangerie that deteriorates and softens after a few hours, one has to sacrifice shelf life for quality.
Natoora watercress
Very disappointing. Will not buy again. Put in cold water to try and revive it . Not good!
wilted and starting to rot
Nice flavour but hardly any of it usable
was dead on arrival
Couldnt even use it on day 1 as it was slimy and brown.
Use it quickly
About to go brown. Guess it's hard to get really just picked watercress from a supermarket .But shouldn't offer it if it can't be pretty fresh and bouncy.
