A mouth watering sweet and creamy blue cheese made from pasteurised cow's milk. This Gorgonzola Dolce D.O.P. is aged for 1-2 months by master affineurs Giolito in the small Piedmont town of Bra. The owner, Fiorenzo Giolito, is promoter of the Slow Food movement and co founder of the annual "Cheese", a well established culinary extravaganza hosted in Bra, where small producers and less known, traditional cheeses find their perfect showcase in a struggle to survive the globalisation of the food industry.

The best I have ever tasted

Best Cheese In The World
Ok maybe thats an exaggeration but wow, I just ate the last of this and it is so delicious. Just the right sweet, fat, salt, umami. Its a glorious complex and delicious flavour. I would make it a regular purchase but I ate the entire thing in 2 days so best to keep it on reserve as the odd treat. Squidgy, nice veining, good packaging, perfection. Keep it out of the flash sales or I will have to buy bigger clothing.

I took it out of the fridge a couple of hours before needed to let it relax but not needed, quite runny already, absolutely delicious, will definately re-order.

Bought in flash sale because of the great reviews. They are absolutely spot on. This cheese was delicious, soft, creamy, and tasty without being overpowering. I am not a big cheese fan but I had to taste this given the reviews and I really liked this. My husband polished off the lot in two days.....just as well because the bbd was only a few days. Would buy again as a treat only, as this is expensive even in the flash sale.
