FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Sweet Indian Mangoes
The browning you might on the skin of a mango is mainly caused by natural reactions that occur when the fruit is exposed to air. This does not impact the delicious taste or texture of the fruit inside. Due to their delicate skins, please do not refrigerate.
- Only in season from April to June, Alphonso and Kesar Mangoes are eagerly anticipated in their native India.
- We source from the western coast, where the balmy, tropical climate and acidic soil produce the ideal growing conditions.
- Our growers prune their trees twice through the winter to allow light to penetrate and ripen the fruit evenly on the tree.
- Light green skin and intensely yellow, fibreless flesh around the seed are the signs of a fully mature Alphonso mango.
- Kesar, which is brighter and with higher acidity, will follow in May.
Take it further
- Best enjoyed raw in sweet and savoury dishes.
- Blended into a sorbet.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We don't work with industrial agriculture or large wholesalers
- We work closely with growers who are preserving vital flavours through meaningful small farming
- We back these growers to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet

fabulous mangos
these are hit an miss wherever you buy from, however these were beautifully scented and tasty if pricey
The best mango I have ever tasted
Oh my, these were amazing, so delicious. You know when the taste of food takes you to another place! These were a deep orange colour inside, were sweet, tangy, exotic, fresh, ripe almost as if they had just been picked. Its a very rare thing to get an imported fruit like that, obviously my lucky day. I really like this Natoora company, I had a similar experience with their carrots from Northern France, with the smell of the soil on them.
lovely Indian mangos
You cant beat Indian mangoes. Lovely and sweet. You must eat them the day you get them or the day after as they are very ripe. Also these were priced at £7 for two and within 2 weeks they have gone up to £8.75. I know Indian mangos are expensive but that is a big price increase in just a few weeks. I will order them again a few more times during the Indian mango season but they are too pricey for a weekly addition!
Not great
Thought for this kind of money you would be getting something special but no where near as good as Alphonso(if you can find them) I found some locally for £1.50 each and were unbelievable.
There is nothing like kesar mangoes!
OMG you have to try the kesar mangoes! I’ve been eating them for decades and nothing comes close to them - although you do need to get them at ten right time - not too close to the beginning or end of season.
Small, expensive and skin was brown
These were too expensive considering the state they were in. The skin was brown and wrinkled so less than fresh. Sweet and fragrant flesh but definitely over ripe and mushy.
