Brand
For millennia, philosophers and sages developed the art of transforming fragile leaves into transcendent cups. Like alchemists, they understood the importance of water quality, temperature and brewing time - an art that is slowly fading.
It is this art that Newby seeks to revive, presenting the finest teas and honouring millennia of tradition with a one-of-a-kind museum collection.
Curated as carefully as our teas, Newby's Chitra Collection chronicles the very history of tea in priceless objects. We have chosen to feature one of these objects with each of our teas and tisanes.
Tea is Newby's passion. Our mission is to source, blend, preserve and serve the world's finest teas.
Selecting the best leaves from prime harvest seasons, we preserve the quality of Newby's blends at our state-of-the-art facility in the heart of the world's finest tea-growing regions.
We pack all our teas in alu-foil to preserve their freshness and unique character.
Newby's award-winning teas and tisanes are enjoyed in fine establishments around the world, a luxury you can now experience for yourself.

Mild, subtle yet elegant
It has beautiful colour of strawberry ( Ruby colour ) which looks appetizing. The taste is not pungent. It has a good balance with various ingredients. Mango taste was weak though. I will buy this again although it’s pricey.
refreshingly delicious
A lovely light tea imply delicious especially iced
Bursting with flavour!
Great tea, you can really taste the flavours. Loss of one star as the product uses excessive packaging. Each bag is individually wrapped.
these are very luxurious but...
The string broke off and the bag burst and I had to strain it! That said, the flavour was delicious and not at all bitter. Very expensive though.
Excellent fruity tea
Received this product to review. These are the most nicely packaged teabags I have used, very fancy, each almost gift wrapped. The tea bags themselves are well filled and feel very secure (unlikely to burst or string break off). The taste is strong and fruity, more mango than strawberry I would say but delicious nonetheless.
Unpleasant aroma of overripe fruit
This is a silver award winning tisane. I am generally a fan of Newby's exquisitely presented teas but from the moment the pungent odour was released from the box, I had my doubts! After brewing for 6-8 minutes as suggested, the smell and taste of overripe strawberries is overpowering and the cloying scent lingers on long after the tea has been made.
