Does the job
The other review complains about the base of the candle. There is a nub of wax on the base that you push into the icing and this secures it fine. I doubt it has much burn time as the wick must only be through the top of the 3, but it was long enough for my 3 year old (who is not an expert blower, and so did not get it on first try!)
Pointless
Literally. There's no stick to enable this to be attached to the cake, the rectangular base isn't thick or strong, so the base will break up if you try to use a thin cocktail stick to secure it to the cake. I couldn't give it zero stars, so have given it one as it will last a long time, purely because it can't be used unless you stick the whole base into your cake or find some way to stick it on that isn't a cocktail stick.
