It is important to select the appropriate chew type, size, and formulation based on your dog's age, breed, chewing style and weight. The pressure exerted by a dog's jaw is considerable, and when directed straight down can put tremendous stress on their teeth. It is recommended that non-edible chews be large enough to encourage chewing from the side rather than the top and bottom.
If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger-size chew item. If you have more than one dog in your household, select chews appropriate for the largest, strongest chewer. If your dog is an especially strong chewer, a larger chew may provide more of a challenge.

Not recommended
My 14 week old Golden Retriever bit the foot off this dinosaur. Luckily she didnt swallow it. Not safe for puppies.

Well received by our small puppy, enjoyed chewing and hunting it.
An instant hit!
Our 15 week old puppy is a real biter and some days you can see see his teeth are really hurting. This is great. He loves it, its calmed him down and is even helping encourage him to go to sleep outside his crate. Ill be buying at least one more. Yes, it does spell of an oxo cube but thats a small price to pay for a happy puppy.

Puppy Loved It
3month old German Shepherd puppy loved this, good for teething - it does smell strongly of chicken so perhaps keep for outside use or store in an air tight container when not in use.
