not a clarifying shampoo
This seems to do the opposite of 'clarify', and after a while of using this, I've realised I have to wash with a basic sulfate free shampoo to get rid of the build-up that this leaves. I checked the ingredients and it's got dimethicone in it, a silicone, which is what you buy clarifying shampoo to remove, not to add more of!! This might technically have apple cider vinegar in it somewhere, but the idea that this is a clarifying shampoo feels like the concoction of a marketing team. It's fine but expensive as a bog standard shampoo if you don't mind silicones.
Good clarifying shampoo
Good clarifying shampoo to use occasionally for a build up of products and I did notice a definite shine. I think it would fade colour if used frequently.
Not really clarifying
I didnt find this shampoo removed any product build up from my hair at all, which is what a clarifying shampoo is supposed to do. It left my fine curly hair feeling coated and weighed down. Usually when Ive clarified my hair, my curls will spring back but my hair was left flat and dull and I had to wash it again the following day with my regular clarifying shampoo.
perfect for fine hair
This doesnt weigh the hair down and I find my hair feels cleaner for longer unlike some other shampoos. I use it 2-3 Times a week and have noticed hair isnt as flat either. Definitely will buy again.

I broadly follow the Curly Girl Method and this is a great shampoo for the occasional clarifying shampoo wash.
