Good for contact lens wearers!
I can't chop fresh chillies as no matter how many times I wash my hands afterwards, I can't put in or remove my contact lenses in the next day or so without severe stinging! These are a godsend to me, and as someone who loves hot food, I liberally shake them into various recipes! Marked one star down as I would love to see them come in more sustainable packaging, but I can at least recycle it with plastic bags at a large well known supermarket near me.

Chopping chillies is always a bit hit and miss with burning hands or worse if you rub your eyes! So I will always buy these ready prepared I wont with most other veg or cheese etc which I can chop or grate myself. But these are worth it. They have lots of heat and mean I use chillis in dishes more

COLOUR BUT NO HEAT
The best I can say about frozen chilli - which I've never tried before - is that it makes the food look pretty. But I really couldn't taste it at all, in the pork larb dish to which I added it. Although they mean more work, I will stick to the fresh chillis in future.
