Ocado Organic Mature Cheddar 245g
Product information
Strength - 3
Our Red Tractor-certified cheese has a smooth texture and deliciously tangy flavour. Its stronger taste is perfect for pies, pasties, scones and toasties. It's hand-made, matured and packaged at an award winning family farm in Somerset where they have been producing cheese since 1952.
The lengthy maturation of this cheddar can result in white spots and crunchy calcium lactate crystals. These are hallmarks typically found in the best quality mature cheddars.
Whether you're looking for hard, soft, sliced or grated, we've got plenty of choice in Ocado Own Range, simply search for 'Ocado cheese'.

Really nice full flavored cheese
Can't believe the bad reviews here, I found it to be a lovely creamy full flavoured cheese without being acidic and not crumbly at all so excellent for slicing. Just ordered some more so fingers crossed.
Awful
Really bad, worst organic cheese I’ve ever eaten. Had on two deliveries and both awful
Horrible taste
Had to throw 3 blocks away. Absolutely awful bitter chemical taste. Revolting
Thought it was organic but is awful
I checked the ingredients as had trusted for weeks it was organic and couldn't make out why it just crumbled everywhere unlike other organic cheese/s on checking the ingredients it has RENNET & MILK CULTURE
bitter taste
I buy it because it's organic but it's got an odd bitter taste whether melted or eaten raw. I thought I was imagining it but after several blocks I've realised it's real. I'm trying the Yeo Valley organic next, which is more expensive but can't be doing with weird cheese.
Really good cheddar
Love this and good price point.
