Preparation and Usage
Boil: 15 mins
- Add 75g of rice per person to a saucepan with 6 times the amount of boiling water.
- Simmer uncovered for approx. 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Drain well and lightly fork through the rice before serving.
All appliance vary, these are guidelines only. Ensure the product is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat.

Bugs in rice
We stored this in an airtight container and found small bugs in it a few weeks later. Yuck! Will not buy again.
Moths hatched....
After a few weeks (in an airtight Oxo Pop container) it hatched moths and we had to throw it away.
Great Rice
Yes it takes longer to cook, but when ready it's lovely healthy rice to eat!
Not 15 minutes
Just got this for the 2nd time, and notice that Ocado still leave cooking time at 15 minutes. What actually is the point of reviews if the shop and manufacturer take no notice - other reviews have made the same point
Needs longer cooking and sets like concrete
We found it still hard after 15 mins and found it a lot better cooked for 25 mins. Also, the starch set like concrete around the saucepan. Took an age to get it off.
Like the taste and texture
I have had a few bags of this rice and quite enjoy it. Only takes 18 minutes at a gentle boil for me. However, the quality could be better as there are too many black bits of rice and some with husks. Seems to have got worse as the price has increased so will be looking at other brands as an alternative.
