There are many varieties of Easy Peelers, and we have travelled far and wide to select only the very best for our OrchardWorld Seedless Easy Peeler box. Tough enough to withstand the supply chain, strong enough to ensure good shelf life, unique enough to leave you wanting more, we select seedless varieties to make them more appealing to you, ensuring that the quality of the appearance, aroma and flavour is not impacted. It can often be difficult, but we have found some of the best varieties that fit these criteria. We present to you Clemenules, Nadorcott and Tango.
Clemenules
Grown in Spain, this smooth variety has an easy to remove peel, rich in orange colouration, soft, sweet and juicy. Originating in Nules, Castellon country, Spain in 1953, they can now be found in various countries around the world, such as South Africa, Argentina and Peru to name but a few, all harvested at different times depending on the country, allowing us to provide you with this perfect variety for most of the year. They are a mutation of the Clementina Fina variety, only slightly larger and ripening slightly earlier. The melting flavours offer a good balance of sweet/acidic, sending your tastebuds into overdrive.
Nadorcott.
Nadorcott stands out by its original and surprising flavours. With a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, it melts in the mouth and offers an exceptional taste experience. The smooth, deep orange peel clings tightly to the segments but is easily removed. This variety was accidentally discovered when cross-pollination took place of an unknown variety ‘Murcott’. Discovered in 1982 in Morocco, initially, it contained a lot of seeds, albeit very tasty. It took a further 6 years to develop a seedless version. Now grown in Spain, Portugal, Argentina and South Africa, once again we are able to supply for the majority of the year.
Tango
Tango fruit are a medium to large variety with a thin rind, smooth, dark orange and glossy skin, covered in many small oil glands releasing fragrant essential oils. The flesh is tender, succulent, and aqueous, comprised of soft, tiny juice-filled sacs. Offering moderate sugar and acidity levels, this contributes to a vibrant, sweet, tart, and tangy flavour. They were developed from selective breeding through the University of California Riverside’s Citrus Breeding Program in the early 21st century. Available for most of the year, the above varieties allow us to pick and choose the peak time to put them in our boxes so that you get the best of the best.

not great
yellow tasteless oranges
almost gone off on arrival and not orange. Box says they have e-numbers on!
Might try again
1st box had a badly mouldy one - asked for money back and got it. Threw out the fruit close to it but ate a few the furthest away. Delicious! Got another box - they all taste like lemons! So - if you're lucky, they're great!
really sweet
We love them!
Tiny
These are so miniature its not worth the effort peeling them. Wont be getting them again. Also didnt like the note on the box saying theyd been sprayed in two chemicals and needed to be washed before peeling.
Surprised!
There is always a limit on the amount of time quality lasts for your chosen Clementines/Satsumas etc. I've had several different over the past few months and they're delicious for a while but then they suddenly go downhill...so I move on to a different producer. I relied on recent reviews for these and was surprised at how vile they are...soft, chewy and just dreadful! Sadly it's a big box so I'll need to juice them as I hate waste...that is if I can actually get any juice out of them! I simply can't eat them which is unusual for me. Not sure which ones to try now. Got some from Waitrose the other week and they were amazing!
