Heavy on the tannins
Surprisingly not very sweet nor fruity. Almost mouth puckering tannins and a hint of vinegar. Very disappointing for £25. Would expect this type of wine to be nudging £7. Sad really.
not that good
I got this bottle of wine as a free sample, in exchange for a review. I like a good Shiraz, and this is a good bottle however it is not worth the price tag. I tried this with a roast dinner and unfortunately the wine did not stand out as much as it should. I would probably not buy again.
So good!
I'm reviewing this as I got a free sample from Ocado. I've never bought myself such an expensive bottle of wine before (I am usually in the £10 a bottle zone), and I tell you what - I could really tell the difference with this one. It was superb - fruity and smooth with a lovely depth of flavour. We drank it with some steak and enjoyed it very much indeed. Would definitely buy again for a special treat.
Special wine \- lovely with steak
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. More expensive than a wine we would usually choose, but this is lovely for a special occasion. Paired well with ribeye steak, slightly oaky & with a great depth of flavour. My husband particularly enjoyed this wine. Would recommend & buy again.

Rich and fruity
I received this product free from Ocado in return for an honest review. The wine has rich flavours of dark berries. It had a smooth and silky texture and didn't dry the tongue. Proved a classy accompaniment to a steak dinner. It's cost takes it out of our usual price range, but would choose it if was on a wine list or for a special occasion.
