Not my favourite

Bought these to try usually buy Mutti found too many hard green bits ,the taste was good but I think I will stick with Mutti in future.

Now my favourite canned tomatoes

These have a good tomato flavour, and they are chopped with proper pieces of tomato that are not minced or pureed. I like the texture in ragu, and vegetable bakes etc

Thick and flavoursome

In marked contrast to the similiarly expensive Antonella ones these made a lovely tasty contribution to a tomato-based sauce. Expensive but didn't have to add lots of puree and seasoning to make it worthwhile.

Tasty Toscana

I don’t normally buy chopped tomatoes as I rather like squidging the whole ones against the sides if the pan with my spatula, but tried these as the reviews were promising, I wasn’t disappointed, they were sweet, full of flavour and perfect in my ragu sauce.

Nice enough canned tomatoes but do note - this does contain iodised salt as well
