Convenient.
Not much fruit in the bag for the money paid. Of course, no way near as nice as fresh fruit. Would be fine in winter for convenience. I will stick to fresh for the time being though.
Very sweet berries
These berries have been very good in the past but the picard mixed berries purchased recently are very sweet, will not buy again as the carbohydrate level may be to high for a keto diet
Great
Very expensive for such a small pack, however they are organic and taste very nice. I bought these to top chia pudding and I was happy to see that they didnt turn to mush once defrosted.
good
Very expensive but at least the berries taste fresh and are organic
Exquisite, outstanding, exceptional!
These are glorious! They have a beautiful deep vibrant colour and an exquisite, intense full flavour with a perfect balance of sweetness and sharpness - the depth of flavour is exceptional. The mix of berries is perfect - it is hard to find organic blackcurrants and they add a gorgeous tangy flavour. Perfect added to cereals, muesli, and porridge and glorious as a dessert with sliced banana and Cocos Organic Coconut Yoghurt. I equally love Picard Organic Wild Blueberries and Picard Organic Raspberries - all are outstanding in every respect. Another winner from Picard!
Mushy on arrival
Picard’s frozen berries would be a convenient and tasty buy for the freezer IF they didn’t arrive in a half-melted, mushy state. What's going on, Ocado? Don’t your packers recognise that goods such as Picard mixed fruit and vegetables must be kept frozen until your customers receive them? Conversely, icecream arrives like a solid block of ice! That suggests delivery vans do have freezer capacity in transit. This kind of carelessness is a great shame as Picard produce is good value – or would be, if delivered frozen. If not, they must either be eaten immediately or chucked out. Perhaps I'll try again next year to see if there's been an improvement in packing advice. But please - for the sake of your clients and suppliers - train your robots to pack frozen goods together and ask drivers to ensure that all frozen goods are stored in a freezer until delivery.
