Product information
Vouvray - White French Wine.
A wine with a pale yellow colour and golden reflections, and an expressive bouquet with notes of flowers and ripe fruit (citrus, quince) leading to aromas of honey. The attack is fresh, the palate round and full with a great balance between sugar and acidity, and a finish ending on notes of dry fruit.
In this region of the Loire valley, listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO for its wine, wine-growing is an age-old affair handed down over the generations. Here, Pierre Brevin has produced a Vouvray with 100% chenin grapes, which revel in this terroir swept by climatic influences.

Far too sweet
Not to my palate. Unfortunately not described as sweet, so a bad choice for me.

This is a Moelleux Vouvray not a Dry
It does not say in the description but this is a moelleux Vouvray (sweet) and not a dry one.

Far too sweet
I am so unsure about this review because if you love sweet wine then this is the wine for you but for me I could only drink one glass

Superb semigsweet Vouvray
A lovely wine if you like an off dry Vouvray, as we do. Enough acidity to stop it being cloying. Goes very well with pan fried salmon.

2019 Vintage too sweet
2018 still had mango, pineapple, honey, pear and melon vibes but was much fresher and nicer to drink. 2019 is sickly sweet.

sweet
A great wine but only if you enjoy your vouvray with a rich, sweet taste.
