Waste of money

I have never posted a review before, but this product was SO disappointing that I decided to. The apple slices were absolutely tasteless. And I mean, TASTELESS. Unfortunately I have to give at least a one star rating to be able to post this review. If I had my choice, theyd have a zero star rating.

Tasteless

As I am unable to eat an apple with skin on, due to dietary problems, I felt this would be a quick way around the problem. No!! Tasteless, even with addition of custard. Threw them away. Unfortunately no other options.

fab! saves the peeling

They were hard, i steamed them for about 30mins and then they were perfect!

Great in a pie

Keep their shape and texture when baked in an apple pie. Delicious

Bland without you pep them up

I found the slices are good size, how they stay in shape even through cooking? Is hard to figure. Very bland without adding brown sugar and cinnamon even though I pan fried them in brown sugar to try to caramelise before adding crumble topping. Ok for a quick crumble but not yummy. I ended up using the 2 nd tin in pancakes with a spicy toffee sauce.
