Leaky bottle and frothy contents
Bought this for the first time and it will be the last. As several others have mentioned, the poor bottle design (oil runs down it as you're pouring it out) and the cap that only fits properly before you open it. Additionally, it froths when being used, turns to a white foam when shallow frying. Wouldn't recommend and won't purchase again
Awful bottle
It leaks whenever used at the start. Was so annoying we had to empty it into a different bottle. Also the lid eventually becomes too loose and doesn’t shut properly. Why not just a screw top? I won’t purchase again because it’s such an inconvenience.
A very good frying oil, but not always available.
A regular staple, but not always available to buy , why ? I have no idea as its a staple and should always be available come Ocado get your act together please, good product at a good price.
Good oil
Yes, bottle is a faff until you use it up a bit, but it's no bother for me. I use this oil to deep fry and what not, so I need decent but cheap oil, as I can't deepfry in one tablespoon of oil! Out of the two, wiping bottle on the outside or paying more for different oil/bottle, I'll prefer to keep wiping the bottle.
good oil, rubbish bottle
The oil itself is absolutely fine but the container is disastrous! Once opened, the lid doesnt fully close and continuously pops open - meaning that it often leaks when you pick it up especially if its a new container.
Poorly designed container
This oil is fine but I think I will buy the smaller bottle in future. This one is difficult to pick up and pour, then the oil dribbles down the outside and I have to stand it on a plate with a piece of kitchen roll. This causes extra cleaning and faff.
