At Quaker, our fire inside is driven by a desire to set the foundations for a better future.
All of these porridge oats are grown on British farms, keeping our 'food miles' down to a minimum. Our oat growers are passionate about sustainability so we've partnered with sustainable farming charity LEAF. Together we're committed to increasing biodiversity and wildlife conservation, nourishing the soil for our planet and porridge.
At Quaker, we know the huge importance breakfast plays in fuelling learning - so since 2009, we've partnered with the charity Magic Breakfast to donate millions of bowls of Quaker cereal to schoolchildren who need them. Because we believe that inside the littlest tummies, burn the brightest fires.

Simple plain oats, but
Partner not a fan of the texture of these oats which have been cut into too small sized pieces. Unfortunately I have to agree with him as although I do not enjoy the whole uncut oats there are other similar products available on Ocado which have a better less processed texture than these.
Great
Great quality of oats and value for money.
Gloopy
Disappointing box this time around. Very gloopy when first prepared, and the following day after reheating really long, off-putting strands form. Nice if you like your porridge to resemble the finale in Raiders of the Lost Art, not so great if you're trying to encourage your kids to eat breakfast before school.
not the texture I like in porridge
I tried this because of all the positive reviews but I prefer more texture in my porridge, I found this akin to instant porridge. I usually buy flahavans jumbo organic and Mornflake and feel both make a better porridge in my opinion, Ill be making a lot of flapjacks to use up this monster of a 3K box
Worth buying the branded version
Excellent porridge made with these. Far better than other own brands bought recently.
Perfect for baking
I received this box for free in return for a review. Usually I’d never buy a box this big and it loses one star because it’s difficult to store (well in my little kitchen anyway). The massive box however is perfect for baking quantities and tasted fab in some mary berry flap jacks I made. I’d recommend to any keen baker who uses oats a lot as for the price the product really does go far
